INGREDIENTS:

- olive oil

- garlic

- onion

1) Saut onion and garlic in olive oil for 5 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

- carrot

2) Add the carrot, saut for another 2 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

- bay leaves

- tomato

- water

3) Add tomatoes, bay leaf and water, stir and bring to the boil.

INGREDIENTS:

- lentils

- salt

4) Stir in lentils, season with salt and cook for 5 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:

- parsley

5) Before serving sprinkle with chopped parsley.
